Absolutely amazing!!

How has no one reviewed this before? This book, in my opinion, is a hidden treasure in the realm of "Jim Morrison Biographies". Granted it is a short read, but it is one of the most accurate, detailed, and researched accounts of Jim Morrison's death. Full of actual French Police documents, witness accounts, funeral arrangements, and more. This book will give you a fantastic in-depth view of the Lizard King's last few hours on earth, and put an end to [most] of the crazy rumors and conspiracies surrounding his death.

A Fantastic Investigation into Jim Morrison's Death!!

I am a hardcore doors-fan. I own about 50 books about the doors and Jim Morrison - and have read most of them. I read this one - years before I started a practice of taking notes as I read. I do recall this book very well. The author set out to prove that Jim Morrison faked his death and perhaps even locate Jim. He (the author) ended up convincing himself - and proving Jim is in-fact dead. - But mostly the details and circumstances in this book are fascinating!! I Highly recommend this book!! A Must read for any true doors-fan - and the BEST explanation for Jim Morrison's demise. Scott MacNeil

Morrison's death inevitable

Seymore did extensive research and offers the most conclusive explanation of talented Morrison's early death at age 27 in Paris, France. Evidence points mostly to anemia and a bleeding ulcer which rendered Morrison extremely weakened. Seymore describes how Morrison was coughing up large quantities of coagulated blood, so his ulcer must have been extreme. Continued drinking and poor nutrition would have further weakened his system, so much that Morrison could not even carry a fairly light load of firewood up a few flights of stairs just a day or so before his death. On his last night, further drinking followed by a hot bath could have easily overtaxed his weakened heart. Simply trying to keep the body at a normal temperature in a hot bath could have caused his heart to give out. Now if Morrison had used cocaine or even snorted heroin as some have suggested during this time period...well, that would easily be all she wrote.
