Worth Waiting for

Perhaps the greatest praise I can offer here is that I knew immediately who John was because his voice and manner were so consistent with his character in the Mageri series. Thank you for giving him another chance to be a hero, and for tying up that little thread.
I have loved Christian since he first arrived in the Mageri series, in spite of his imperfections, and there are many, he is fundamentally a good guy, and I am 100% team Christian in this series.
For my more circumspect friends, there is more talking about sex than actually having any in this series, which means you can read the book, skimming only occasionally. If it were a movie, it would probably still be R for mature themes.
How to spend my life until book 3 comes out? Maybe I'll go back and do One Second. for those of you who haven't read the Seven series, there is a wonderful and full crossover between the main characters in both series. I won't say which. Start with Seven. That series is a very in-depth look at the shifters in the Breed world.

another fun read from Dannika Dark

I enjoyed the expansion of the Raven/Christian story very much. Dark's stories are always good reads, and I particularly appreciate her comic humor, which frequently has me snorting with laughter.
That being said, I was dismayed by the reduction of proofreading quality. There were lots of grammatical mistakes.
With regard to the plot (no spoilers) - I figured out who the baddie was immediately. I figured out the supernatural part immediately. No surprises, which was disappointing. Lastly, the parts of the story that will be used for future stories (whether or not they involved Raven and Christian) were way too obvious.

This series just gets better and better

This series is developing into a great adventure. Keystone is called into a serial killer case. Raven and Christian are bonding more in this book. Raven even tries her hand at dating a Chitah. Love the who-done-it scenario. Was very pleased with the hints given about the Keystone member's pasts. Love the added chapter with "John". This book showed real team work and the developing trust between the members. I am loving this series almost as much as "The Mageri Series". If you haven't read the series that started it all, then you are missing a remarkable spun tale.
